“Would you want to be your disciple?” – Bailey Proverb

19 Oct “Would you want to be your disciple?” – Bailey Proverb

Self-examination and self-evaluation have significant value. Are you capable of providing instruction, training, mentoring, and coaching to a person (a disciple) who wants to receive it from you?

A disciple is a learner—one who receives instructions from another.
A disciple is a follower—one who learns and adheres to the doctrines of another.

For example, the followers of Jesus Christ were called disciples because they learned, received, and adhered to His teachings and doctrines.

The truth is—the one doing the discipling must be capable, competent, and qualified in order to make good disciples.

Therefore, the question remains, would you want to be your disciple?
